George was going through difficult time in his life, to get away from it all he visited his good friend Eric Clapton. While walking around in his garden he picked up one of Eric's acoustic guitars and wrote this lovely song. You're my hero George.

Oh, Yoko.

Have you ever heard a little song written by Yoko Ono (feat. Cat Power) a few year ago called Revelations? It's one of the most beautiful songs I've ever listened to. Every single lyric in that song is a life lesson. Yoko is amazing, I don't understand how any Beatle fan can actually hate her? She and John had a beautiful relationship and she is an amazing artist as well. I've posted the lyrics on my website along with a series of illustrations I will be painting inspired by this song.

 I've been watching Gorge Harrison videos all morning in honor of his 68th birthday. Eric Clapton just said something amazing in the behind the scenes video of Concert For George. He said his favorite songs were the ones that were innocent and from the heart, he called them: Spiritual Love Songs. I've said this before and I'll say it again, George is my absolute favorite person in the entire world. EVER. This april will be specially important and meaningful, on the last day of Coachella, George's son, Dhani will be playing with his band "Fistful of Mercy"... not only is the music beautiful, but it is the closest I'll ever be to George. ♥ 

The Beatles Part 1

Anyone who knows me can tell you that I'm a huge Beatles Fan. It started when I was about 8 or 9 years old. I remember this because by 1995 (the year The Beatles Anthology was released) I was already completely in love with them. By the time I was 14 I had already gone to London, left my message for John, Paul, George and Ringo on the walls of Abbey Road and bought every single piece of Beatles memorabilia you can imagine. My love for them has just kept on growing over the years. I could sit here and write about how much I worship them and how I know every lyric and movie line ever written, but instead I'll just post these images of my most recent project.
