Aqua

I mostly limit myself to painting with acrylic these days, but once in a while I like to go back to watercolor. Painting with watercolor is the complete opposite of acrylic, it's so different in so many ways; from cleaning your brushes, mixing the paint, to the end result, but most important of all it's a completely different feeling you get during the process. I've lost practice with this technique in the last year and I'm never sure how much I even like the end result of my nature inspired illustration using watercolor, but I've decided I'll start uploading them anyways!  You can now find them under the "Aqua" section in my site, more to come <3

A Bunch of Berries

I recently painted these illustrations on my Fabriano Medioevalis Cards and framed them all. I love these little cards, they are 12 x 12 cm each and I'm about half way through on my pack of 100.
The illustrations are currently listed on my etsy shop, they can be purchased as singles or as the entire series of 6 (free shipping for anyone interested in all 6!).

Paper Roses

These are precious! I stumbled upon this little tutorial this morning and I just HAD to make them. They are so cute! I want to make many many more. (sorry about the pencil marks)

LEAVES

I made two of these last night around 3am, after having some leftover paint, from my new "Berries" series. I'll probably paint a billion of these tonight,  they are so fun and relaxing to paint. I've also listed them on my etsy store along with my original Love Illustration. <3

I painted these three last night. They're so fun to make! view full size on website.

Fabric!

I've been dying to make some fabric out of my illustrations for a long time. Everyone keeps telling me they look like patterns, so I guess I need to start making some real geometry based patterns, and maybe buy some software to get into textile design, any suggestions?

Here are a few pictures of my first sample of "Summer Dream" fabric. Thanks to my lovely model Mayari, for making the fabric look so cute as a scarf.
The fabric will be turned into patchwork in a few weeks, more on that soon!

Love is in the air.
I just made this cute little Valentine's Day greeting <3
I'll be printing out some cards next week, pictures soon!

..................................................................
I finally printed out the cards! I've put them together with envelopes to sell a single card or pack of three. Valentines day is just a few weeks away now,  I'll be sending mine in the mail this week <3

I've been making stuff!

A few weeks ago my sister took me to this place called "El Nuevo Fénix", which is sort of like a huge mexican craft store. I found a bunch off wooden boxes, pencil holders, flower pots, etc. All I could think was: blank canvas!
So I paint all of these (much more to come!) in my free time and sell them on my etsy store. It's fun to paint on objects, as opposed to regular cotton based paper all the time. I hope you like them!
