It's been forever...

Yikes! I can't believe it's been almost a year since my last illustration post, a lot has happened from November 2011 to today. I've dived back into watercolor and been experimenting with different styles and techniques. Like this supernova/cosmic/galactic theme. They're super fun to make and not that difficult, I'll be giving a workshop on color with acrylics and watercolor soon and the last class will be how to make this. I'll also be taking these to the next Bazar Fusión and posting on Etsy right after that.

Glad to be back!

still blogging guys...!

I know I haven't been around much lately, but if you still wanna read me, I have a section where I'll be blogging on my fave illustrators, where to see art in Mexico City and my regular day to day stuff, over at VANS GIRLS:

Hey anyone who still reads this! I've been bad at blogging for the past few months, mostly because instagram has done a very good job at keeping me in touch with everyone and showing my recent work (@anavictoriana) to anyone who's interested in my painting. Everything has been very good, my work is being sold at Sicario Store in Mexico City and will be available at Simona y Cirilo in Cancún very soon.

Also, this weekend will be the first Bazar Fusión of 2012. So for anyone interested, the info is on the flyer/post card above. My "Ojo de Dios" painting is featured and there'll be a trivia giveaway for this framed print through their twitter account

Hope to see you there!

It's that time of year again
I've been busy painting all kinds of seasonal illustrations these past few weeks, which means I prepared all kinds of greeting cards and prints for this beautiful time of year.

If you're in Mexico City, I'll be selling all these goodies at the ASF ART FAIR on Saturday. I'd love to see you there

Santos Difuntos

I'm so glad it's October :) like most people, I love love love every holiday from here to December, one of my favorites is Day of The Dead (Día de Muertos) here in Mexico. It's right after Halloween and everything gets super colorful and spooky. Plus, I can't wait to put up my altar this year, which I will most likely post pictures of on my facebook fanpage. The Calavera (skull) is probably the most representative image for Day of The Dead, I've always thought they look super awesome, so I decided to paint my own (pictured above) and I believe I will paint a couple more for a cool project I will write about later on...

Day of the Dead Print is available on etsy and I also made special blank greeting cards that will be sold exclusively at BAZAR FUSIÓN which will be held during October 14th throughout the 16th in PLAZA RIO DE JANERIO, Roma, Mexico City. Event info here.

SI ESTÁS EN EL DF O ESTARÁS EN LA CIUDAD EL 14, 15 Y 16 DE OCTUBRE NO TE PUEDES PERDER LA EDICIÓN 50 DE BAZAR FUSIÓN, DE REGRESO A LA ROMA! INFO Y MAPA AQUÍ.
